How we work

  • Calculators first: we do the arithmetic from official rules and show our working.
  • Every rule or rate links to its official source (Clean Energy Regulator, DCCEEW, state governments), with a "last checked" date.
  • We use AI tools to help draft and check pages. A person reviews every page, and we fix errors as soon as we find them.
  • We don't invent numbers. Where a figure is an example, we label it as one.
